When you're in Salter Path in December, and the beach is too cold, and all the tourist shops (most of the island) is closed, ya gotta drum up your own entertainment. So we headed to the new Atlantic Beach park to get some energy out of the kids. Cooper and Mommy had fun on the see-saw.
We found a pirate and a mermaid at the park too!
Hudson tried his best at the monkey bars.
Cooper found an awesome tree to climb.
Then we waited in the car while Dad ran in to the grocery store to grab a few items. We might of got a little bored...
Hey, I have a great idea! Let's get a good picture of the boys with Mema and Poppy on a day we're not getting ready to leave. Ha. Right. Michele's face says it all...getting these guys to take ONE good picture is like winning the lottery...
...NOT gonna happen. At least the grandparents are smiling!
Coop helped us cook Christmas dinner.
He also spent a lot of time tinkering in Poppy's shed. I think he wishes he had his own shed like this at home. It's one of his favorite places to be, especially with Poppy.
The boys beg about every 5 minutes to go on a golf cart ride. It was a beautiful day, and Bogue Sound was gorgeous.
Coop took us for a drive.
Are there any "feesh" in there?
Another of Coop's happy places.
Smith boys on Smith Lane, named after our Smith family ancestors. Classic Salter Path picture.
Huddy wants his turn to drive!
