Last Saturday morning we took a trip to a nearby farm for a fall visit. They have lots of fun things like a petting zoo, but Cooper was not very interested in the animals. He looked at them for all of about 2 seconds and decided he was done.
So we moved on to the Halloween-themed parts of the visit. First, this big pumpkin, which was a dark room with a gazillion crazy kids running around. Coop just stood there. I can't blame him.
One of the main attractions of this particular farm were the big slides made out of old farm silos. They have built stairs and ramps to climb up, and then big slides to come down. Since Cooper LOVES slides, this was right up his alley. Hi Dad--look how high up we are!

Next came the tractor. OK, well this one was really an old plow. Cooper was like, "What is this supposed to be? Fun?"
Ahhh, yes. Now here's the real deal! Driving a REAL farm tractor. It was so big that they had built wooden steps for the kids to climb to get in it. Coop was in heaven.
He indulged me. This was one of my favorite pictures of the day.
Cooper's three main loves are: #1 Firetrucks (still calls them "nee-nahs"), #2 Tractors, and #3 Trains. You can imagine his excitement at seeing this "tractor train" as he called it. And we was ecstatic when he found out we were going to ride it.

The pumpkin patch was fun, and we all picked out our own pumpkins. Coop found his to be a great seat for finishing his pbj sandwich while we waited for Dad to go get the car.
Nothing tells me Cooper has had a good time more than finding him like this in the back seat less than five minutes down the road on the way home.
What a beautiful, fun fall day it was!
