Visiting the coast means seeing cousins! Coop loved visiting his cousins Haleigh and Stella. Stella was so nice to play with Cooper outside and show him tricks on the trampoline, even though the mosquitoes were bad that night.
Besides visiting Poppy and MeMaw, the other purpose of our trip was to visit "BB", who is not doing well. Coop love his "Grandma BB" as he calls her. We visited with her awhile. Don't they look quite the pair? A spunky bunch, those two.
Abby was so good to invite us to Cape Lookout with them. It was a perfect day of weather and beach. Stella and her friend caught a big hermit crab pretty soon after we arrived. No pictures of Haleigh, who was busy hanging out with her friends [teenagers! ;)].
Nate and I enjoyed some shade under the umbrella.
We walked across the boardwalk to the other side of the island, and Nate and Coop played in the Atlantic waves for awhile. Coop didn't want to get out of the big waves.
MeMaw walked with us, while Abby and Poppy stayed on the other side of the island and enjoyed their chairs. :)

It looks picturesque, since the "no-see-ums" can't bite a picture.
Really though, it was beautiful.
Coop was back in the water as soon as he could be.
It was a really great day at Cape Lookout.
