Discovery Kids Museum

We had a chance yesterday to go to the Discovery Kids museum in Huntersville with our friends, Stephanie, Ethan and Adison.
Right off the bat, Cooper's favorite thing was the life-size fire truck. He couldn't get enough of it. Twice he ran off while I was tending to the baby, and he was back at the fire truck both times.
The fireman's helmet was a little big, even for our large-headed kid.
Cooper and Ethan telling me about the fire they were driving to.
Adison tried her best to keep up with the boys.
Cooper also liked the race car,
And the airplane.
His second favorite exhibit was the car mechanic shop, where he changed a few tires, the air filter put in antifreeze, and replaced a rusty muffler with a shiny nee one. He loves to watch a tv show called Fast 'n Loud with Nathan and I, where they buy, fix up, and sell all kinds of cars. He's kind of obsessed lately.
Ethan changed the air filter too.
Adison was more interested in playing receptionist for the shop.
This was apparently serious business, not just fun.
Hudson was along for the ride in the stroller, and was a very good baby, especiallly considering all the crazy loud noise all day long.
It was a fun way to spend a very hot, humid day. We'll definitely have to visit this childrens' museum again. I was nursing the baby twice, and missed them playing at the grocery store, the art center, and the doctor's office. Other things they did were the vet's office, a bank, a water table, a brick mill, a construction zone, a farm complete with tractor and cow, and an indoor slide/ playground. LOTS to do there! Glad Stephanie invited us.
