Cooper's First Horseback Ride

My older brother, Jayson, is one of the most selfless people I know.  He's giving of his time and resources, even to the point of going out of his way to make others happy.  I didn't get to see him much during our trip because he was so busy with being a great Scout/Young Men's leader for his ward, being a great dad, and working hard at his day job.  But in the middle of it all, he offered to have Cooper come up and ride his horses.  Cooper was elated, having never ridden a horse before.  This is Big John, Jayson's most gentle horse.
Aspen and Tyler have been taking riding lessons, and helped get John ready for a ride.

Cooper and his Uncle Jayson (bare-back...oh yeah!)
Jayson was so busy, but Cooper said he wanted to ride with a saddle.  So despite being short on time, he obliged, and they got to work saddling and bridling the horse.  Cooper was excited to help.
Coop was all ready to take off on his own, or so he kept trying to convince us.
Aspen was sweet to take Cooper for a ride.  He had a great time!
Hudson, on the other hand, was not so sure about the horses.  Right after this picture, this horse whinnied right in Hudson's face, and his facial expression was priceless.  I think Hudson looks A LOT like his cousin, Aspen, and you can kind of see some of that here.
Thanks Jayson, Anna, Aspen, and Tyler for a fun couple of hours!  Cooper talked about it for days afterward.
